There are many different ways that an individual or group of people can help with reducing pollution over the next several years.
As an individual some of the many things you could do are:
- Picking up litter from roadside
- Teach others about the problem
- Wash your car at car wash or in grass
- Recycle
- Try to conserve water
- Influence others to help
- Capturing all oil that you change
- Preventing leaks from your car with proper maintainence
- Get involved in an organization to clean the Puget Sound.
As a group or an organization, some of the many things you can do are:
- Organize cleaning days to head out to the Puget Sound and clean up
- Write letters and influence government and other organizations
- Organize get togethers and raising awareness campaigns
